Deloris, Epicure & Decoder Ring

After last week's brilliant live set from 67 Special, the live action continues on Tyranny Of Distance.
This week - Tuesday September 28 - Marcus of Deloris will bring his guitar in for a performance, this time of the acoustic kind. Deloris have just dropped Fake Our Deaths, their third LP featuring gorgeous tracks Playing The Spaces (the soundtrack to last Summer) and the new single Dead Drunks. It's been a little while coming but it's finally arrived and Deloris will be showcasing it at an intimate show at Manchester Lane on Wednesday September 29. Tune in for our very own intimate preview live on the airwaves this Tuesday.

And, hear what Decoder Ring have to say about their new album Somersault. It's the soundtrack to the best new Australian film in years (unless you ask Jim Schembri) and the debut feature film for director Cate Shortland. It screened at Cannes, received standing ovations, has everyone talking and includes one of the most starkly beautiful soundtracks you'll ever hear. Find out all about the film here, and find out all about the soundtrack next Tuesday on Tyranny Of Distance with Tom of Decoder Ring.

On top of that Dan from Ballarat band Epicure - famous for the song Armies Against Me - will be on the blower for a bit of chat too.

Tune in... it's fucking jam packed. Packed. Jam like.
